Nihi sits directly in front of one of the most coveted waves in the world. Known as Occy's Left, this powerful left-hand reef break is accessible exclusively to Nihi guests, with only ten surf passes available per day. For surfers this is as close to a private wave as anywhere on earth.
Non-surfers can watch from the clifftop bar as sets roll through -- one of the most spectacular shows in nature. The surf season runs from May to October when southwest swells consistently light up the break.

All food at Nihi comes from the resort's own organic farm or from local Sumbanese fishing communities.
